Mahogany, sycomore and brass sideboard, 1961

Large french-made line dated 1961 (marking on the back) in red mahogany and blond sycamore with magnifying glass decoration. Fully glossy varnished furniture, arranged in 4 storage parts of 55 cm each, resting on a portico at 4 compass feet. each end is closed by a door opening onto a shelf dressed in sycamore singing. In the centre, a combination of a "secretary" door opening onto a small glass shelf; and a two-glass sliding window, set in a gilded metallic frame, also opening onto a small glass shelf. In the lower part, two drawers in doves. Brass keys, handles and clogs with a typical 1960s design. Macaron adep "genuine wood veneer" inside a door. Rare pearl of authenticity with a decidedly 60's look. Originality: geometric decoration by the inlay of a blackened wood net to separate the mahogany's veining from the magnifying glass. Status: furniture cleaned, ready to install permanently. Some traces of use "claws and impacts" visible in the photos. Dimensions (cm): l220 X p50 X h91. Net weight: 80 kg.
