Vintage brass table lamp – 1950s – Rococo style base

Very elegant 1950s table lamp, made of gilded brass, preserved in beautiful vintage condition and presented with its original shade. The base is distinguished by its richly decorative aesthetic, featuring a square base with corners adorned with leaf and rock motifs, a central part shaped like a fluted shell, and an elegant tapered column made up of several moulded elements. The whole piece displays a lovely golden patina that highlights the reliefs and decorative character of this lamp. The ecru fabric shade, slightly flared in shape, is accented by two circles in gilded metal and embellished with a wide central textile band featuring geometric patterns, adding a very characteristic touch of mid-20th century furniture and decor. Once lit, the lamp emits a soft, warm, and diffused light, particularly enhancing the golden hues of the base and the details of its decoration.
