Bauhaus style Italian chairs attr. to Matteograssi, set of 8, 1970s

These Italian chairs from the 1970s have been manufactured most likely by Matteograssi. The most striking feature of these chairs is very thick, high-quality black leather. The chair dimensions are H: 78 / W: 60 / D: 58 cm, seat height is 47 cm, and armrest height is 62 cm. The design is characterized by a minimalist, architectural form. The chairs feature a tubular chromed steel frame (very high-end metalwork), which gives them industrial elegance typical of Bauhaus-inspired design. These chairs will work equally well in dining, office, or living interiors. This set is in original vintage condition, showing light signs of age and retaining its original character.
