Vintage earth globe with light, Germany 1949

This vintage globe was made in 1949 by Räths Physikalischer Erdglobus in Germany. The globe is made of glass and paper, and it has a stylish metal and wood base. It looks fantastic in a bedroom or living room to create a cosy atmosphere. In good vintage condition. The globe presents some imperfections (as shown in the pictures), as expected with objects of this age. There are no cracks, just some light wear in the paper. It is part of the character and really is very charming. The light works perfectly, although it has not been checked by an electrician. Diameter approximately 33 cm; height approximately 55 cm; Diameter base 22 cm.
