Ceramic carafe "clown donkey" by Jim Beam, USA, 1960s

Decanter carafe or ceramic bottle representing a clown donkey, produced by the famous bourbon distiller Jim Beam in the USA in 1968. This bottle comes from a special series called "political circus". Indeed, the prize for political humour undoubtedly goes to the Jim Beam decanter collection! This series, launched in 1956, offers two decanters for each presidential year, each representing an animal symbolising the Democratic Party (the donkey) and the Republican Party (the elephant). In excellent condition except for the cork that needs to be reattached to the head.
