"Balassa" sofa and armchair set by Ipoly Furniture Company, Hungary, 1970s

This sofa and armchair set was manufactured by the renowned ipoly furniture company in Hungary in the 1970s. Adopting a Brazilian style, the seats are made of a wooden frame with leather straps on which the cushions are placed, providing a unique blend of comfort and support. The set is in very good vintage condition with new green upholstery. Minor wear consistent with age and use on the wooden base and leather adds to its character and authenticity.
