The GFM 110 chair was designed by Professor Edmund Homa in 1967. It is a piece of furniture that rarely appears on the antique market, and purchasing a 4-piece set is almost a miracle. This chair was produced for the representative equipment of the Forum Hotel (now Novotel). Only small quantities were sold on the general market and, as can be assumed, they were only sold to the "chosen ones"; ) The gfm 110 chair captivates with its silhouette from afar, but the design craftsmanship can only be fully seen up close, looking at its individual elements. The shape of the legs, the profile of the seat and its front and rear supports, as well as the sculptural form of the backrest clearly demonstrate the extraordinary talent and imagination of Professor Edmund Homa. This model can be an equal next to the best Scandinavian or Brazilian designs of the time, and even eclipse some of them. Thus, this chair may interest a person with mature taste, who likes to surround themselves with refined objects that create a harmonious space around them. The universality of this design is that the chair can be placed in a classic interior in a building, but it will also work well in a modernist or loft space, placed, for example, on a minimalist black table made of anodized metal. The furniture has undergone a complete professional renovation of the wooden elements, and the seat has been covered in black natural leather. Finally it is worth adding that the chair is very comfortable, which cannot be said of some of today's "seats" which may seem nice, but after 15 minutes when you sit on it you start to make you squirm uncomfortably :).
