This fairly rare table lamp, model LT 361, was designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in the 1970s. The design features an aluminium fixture surrounded by four white crystal glass panels. These panels are secured with bolts and create an appealing interplay of transparency and light. The slightly irregular texture of the glass softly diffuses the light, producing a warm and pleasant glow. The clean, modular construction is characteristic of Carlo Nason’s work and fits well within Italian design of the 1960s and 1970s. The lamp is documented in the Mazzega catalogue and is considered a recognizable design from this period. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition.
