Handmade Hamadan rug 125 x 207 cm

This very decorative rug features a central hexagonal medallion framed by stylised floral patterns and geometric borders typical of Iranian craftsmanship. The colours are warm, blending intense cherry, wine, midnight blue, indigo, ivory, black, and touches of rosy beige. It has a beautiful knot density of approximately 200, 000 knots per square metre, offering thick, supple, and durable wool. Dimensions are 125 X 207 cm. It has original fringes on one side and a kilim finish on the other.
