Pair of sculptural lamps in brushed metal, attributed to the French designer Philippe Rogier, an icon of 1970s lighting design. ● These rare pieces captivate with their minimalist aesthetic, typical of the Modernist movement and Space Age influences. ● Each lamp consists of a wide, curved metal band, forming a luminous ribbon with perfectly taut curves. This elegantly arched sheet metal acts as a reflector, diffusing the light and creating a subtle interplay of shadows and reflections. The visual effect is futuristic and decidedly graphic. ● At the center, a black cylindrical socket houses a silver mirrored bulb, reinforcing the sculptural character of the whole and providing very comfortable indirect lighting. The lamps rest on a stable and discreet rectangular metal base, allowing the curved form to take center stage, the true protagonist of the object. ● The electrical components—power cord, slide switch, original plug—attest to the authenticity and vintage charm of this pair. Their clean design allows them to be used as either table lamps or wall sconces, thanks to their mounting brackets on the back. These lamps are sought-after collector's items to enhance a modern, brutalist, or mid-century interior. Excellent condition. LED bulbs are included. Dimensions: H 19 cm W 17 cm D 10 cm
