Artemide "Tolomeo Tavolo Classic" Desk Lamp – First Edition

Absolute icon of Italian design, I am selling this authentic Tolomeo Tavolo table lamp in its original "Classic" version, created by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for Artemide in 1987. This is a rare and sought-after first edition piece, as evidenced by the period engraving "Patent Pending" stamped on the polished aluminium arm. The overall aesthetic is very beautiful, and the cable and spring articulation system works perfectly, offering its legendary fluidity and stability. General condition: Good vintage condition. The item bears subtle marks of its history that attest to its authenticity: the base plate shows signs of surface wear, and the aluminium reflector has a very slight deformation, barely visible (see detail photos). Ideal for a contemporary interior, an architect's office, or a retro chic atmosphere. Dimensions: • Base diameter: 23 cm. • Maximum height: 129 cm. • Maximum extension: 122 cm. It can serve as a table lamp but also as a perfect floor lamp for reading. Shipping possible or delivery in Paris and the surrounding area for €30.
