Apply meander "raimbow" designed by italian architects Cesare Casati and Emanuele Ponzio for the manufacturer Raak, Amsterdam in the 1970s. Very nice light effect for these appliques that can be mounted in series, even more spectacular on a wall of color. Made from semi-moon elements in sheet metal assembled at equidistances, the fitting piece on the wall hides an e 27 socket (porcelain), allowing the light to diffuse while highlighting the graphic shapes. Founded in 1954, raak is one of the most esteemed dutch lighting manufacturers of the 20th century. It is an emblematic company of the post-war period, but also a key contributor to the "space age" style of the 1960s and 1970s. Raak's slogan is "enlightened architecture", which highlights the brand's commitment to producing sophisticated designs that blend seamlessly into the interiors. Raak lamps are highly sought after by collectors and vintage enthusiasts around the world.
