Midcentury Italian design floor lamp Bruno Munari Bali Danese

Rare & pure italian design. This special vintage floor lamp is a design by bruno munari. An italian multi-talent and one of the most influential designers in italian history. A beautifully beautiful & rare early model. Called the 'bali' floor lamp, it was produced by danese, italy in 1958. The lamp has a square travertine base and dark gray steel frame. What is special about this lamp is that the shade is adjustable in 2 heights. Considering the age in a nice vintage condition. The floor lamp gives a beautiful warm light. A nice quote from munari: “art shall not be separated from life: things that are good to look at and bad to be used, should not exist” (bruno munari, 1966).
