Orlat GD Vase

Gilbert and Denise Orlat created their workshop in Ébreuil (Allier) in the 1950s. He is a ceramist, student of Pol Chambost; she is a drawing professor at the City of Paris, student of Jean Souverbie, professor at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. After many years of creating ceramics, glazed lava offers them new possibilities; they carry out interesting programs with architects, decorators and individuals. The enameled lava orientation table then became their main activity, combining technique and drawing. In 1979, they received the Departmental Grand Prix for crafts. It will find its place in all interiors, from the most modern to the most classic with its size of 19cm, easy to display, its superb yellow and black glaze, it is just waiting for you to enhance it. There is a discreet crack visible on the second photo but it's obviously not leaking.
