Dish Grand Dépôt Emile Bourgeois Paris 1880

Around 1880, old louis XVI style earthenware dish with its decoration of floral garlands wrapped in blue color. On the back, stamp faïences porcelaines cristaux - grand dépôt - e bourgeois - 21 rue drouot in paris - 33 rue st férréol marseille - email without lead - deposited. To be used as a decoration or functional object in a bathroom to deposit sponges and washcloths, or as a saucer under a pot of succulent plants.  The large depot of emile bourgeois (1832-1926) was founded in 1863 and was the largest house in the world for table services and crystal. Note: a small shine and age-related tasks evenly visible in photos. Dimensions (cm): diameter 32 X h3.5. Net weight 1.2kg.
