The wood chair is an example of marc’s desire to push the limits of the material and consists of slatted beech wood strips steam bent to form a 'double curve' or 'alpha' shape. The backrest extends down, around and back to form the seat and supports, the strips strengthened with horizontal bracing at each end and at three points around the curve of the seat.
