Set of large vintage table lamps by Ilu De Vetro

Two beautiful vintage glass table lamps from ilu di vetro. One large lamp, 35 cm in diameter, and one medium lamp, 25 cm in diameter. The thick glass globe of both lamps rests on a white metal base. The elegant shape of the lamps is reminiscent of a pressed pebble or ball. The lamps are made of glass in a beautiful light grass green. They emit a yellow glow when lit, with the medium lamp leaning more towards a greenish-yellow light. Both lamps can also be placed on the floor, console table, or desk. Designed and produced by the dutch company ilu design, these lamps are part of the vetro series. They are all made of italian glass, probably am italy. The lamps offered here are a slightly lesser-known and therefore rarer model. This monochrome model was also available in orange and in two sizes. The glass in these lamps is incredibly thick, the thickest ever seen for ilu lamps. These are quality lamps. The glass is made up of three layers of glass: a clear inner layer, followed by a green layer, and finally another clear layer. The combined thickness of these layers is 8 mm (0.31 inches) at the bottom edge.
