Two identical vintage Clarice Cliff plates from the Newport Pottery.

Produced in Staffordshire, England, during the mid-20th century Art Deco period, these plates feature a classic ribbed, scalloped border adorned with delicate scattered pink, purple, and yellow floral bouquets. The inner rim and scalloped edges are finished with an elegant gold gilt trim. Brand/Designer: Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery Co., England. These date, I believe, to the 1950s after the designer's famous Art Deco pieces. They are in extremely good vintage condition with no major chips or cracks. The numbers on the back date them more accurately, if needed.
