Fat Lava 70 ceramic candle holder

Beautiful fat lava candle holder in glacier enamels. A true collector's item from the 1960s/1970s. We love it for its intense turquoise volcanic lava appearance. It was manufactured by charles cart, ceramist and specialist in enamels in the 1960s. In 1963, he registered the brand "le cyclops, glacier enamels, snow enamels" in annecy, whose production is internationally recognized. He called it cyclops because of the large volcanic dimples created during the firing of the pottery, which reveal the layers of white and black on its surface. Length: 19cm.
