Two beautiful 19th century slip planters, decorated with putti and angels with musical instruments. The interior of the planters is light green. They are signed in hollow ts (thomas sergent). Thomas-victor sergent is a ceramic artist born in 1830 and died in 1890. He is part of the historicism movement and brings the achievements of the french renaissance up to date, in particular paying homage to bernard palissy, through his work. His works have been sold at public auction 49 times. Rich relief decoration. Perfect for putting a small plant or simply as a decorative object on a piece of furniture.
