Two Thomas Sergent planters in Palissy majolica

Two beautiful 19th century slip planters, decorated with putti and angels with musical instruments. The interior of the planters is light green. They are signed in hollow ts (thomas sergent). Thomas-victor sergent is a ceramic artist born in 1830 and died in 1890. He is part of the historicism movement and brings the achievements of the french renaissance up to date, in particular paying homage to bernard palissy, through his work.
