Charles Catteau (1880-1966) Franco-Belgian ceramist. A creator who worked from 1906 for the Keramis factory at Boch Frères in La Louvière, Belgium, and whose infinitely varied production is sought after by amateurs as well as professionals. His work illustrates his dual palette, on one side colorful earthenware, richly enameled, rather retro, on the other, elegant sober stoneware with abstract patterns. This vase is exceptional because of its size, it is signed by Charles Catteau and has kept the label of the store that sold it.
