Original and iconic molded glass flower bowl; the round, pierced glass to place the flowers is removable, so the object can also be used as a bowl or ashtray. Its shape is simple and bold, cleverly proportioned, the result of intelligent aesthetic reflection in the purest art deco style; nickel oxide was added when glass was melted to achieve the soft, refined purple coloring; although it does not bear a signature (in this type of cut and with this artist, this often happened), we can say with certainty that it was produced in france between 1930 and 1935 by pierre d'ads, an artist who worked at the time at the Daum glassworks, where he developed an innovative molded glass technique, resulting in pieces of astonishing transparency and brilliance. A few marks at the bottom of the bowl should be noted. Height 9cm. Diameter 18cm.
