Aegitna - Saltalamacchia - Vallauris - Olive pot (1)

From the twentieth century, this delightful olive pot with its wooden serving spoon in good condition signed "aegitna vallauris made in france". It is made of glazed terracotta of green color with patterns of olive branches with fruits in relief. Beautiful and large wooden spoon turned, probably olive tree, which allows to serve by draining the fruits. No cracks, all small splinters unimportant at the heel. All the many photos complete this detailed description. Very neat expedition and followed in relay point when possible. For information: created in 1920, three generations of potters have succeeded each other at the aegitna pottery in vallauris. Placide joseph (born in 1903), his son joseph until 1977 and his children gaby and nicole in 1988.
