This teak corner cabinet was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. It is an excellent example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design, combining clean lines, high-quality craftsmanship, and the functionality characteristic of post-war Danish furniture. The cabinet was designed to make optimal use of corner space. Its slender form, raised on tapered legs, gives the piece a sense of visual lightness, while its well-balanced proportions allow it to fit seamlessly into a living room, dining room, or home office. The upper section features a glazed display cabinet with shelves, ideal for showcasing porcelain, glassware, books, or decorative objects. Below is a practical open compartment and a spacious cupboard with solid doors, providing ample storage space. Thanks to its thoughtful layout, the piece successfully combines the functions of a display cabinet, bookcase, and sideboard. The cabinet has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. It was stripped of the old coating and finished with high-quality Danish oil, which enhances the natural beauty of the teak wood, highlights the depth of its grain, and provides durable surface protection. The glass panels have been replaced with new ones. Additional dimension: 82 cm – tabletop height.
