Footed bowl in white porcelain, richly decorated with fine gold in an Empire style. The decor, of great elegance, features a laurel crown framing a bee, an emblematic imperial symbol, repeated in a frieze with stars around the edge. The interior adopts the same decorative vocabulary, creating a very harmonious ensemble. The well-balanced shape rests on a pedestal also adorned with friezes of laurel and highlighted with wide golden fillets. The quality of the gilding, still very bright, emphasises the decorative and refined character of the piece. Work from the 19th century in the style of prestigious productions inspired by the First Empire, close to models made for the great Parisian or Limoges houses.
