"Bar" coffee table by Willy Rizzo for Cidue 70's

In the early 1970s, Willy Rizzo developed for Cidue a series of coffee tables incorporating discreet functions, designed for modern interiors and evolving uses. Model "Bar", published by Cidue. Chrome metal structure, top surface in smoked mirror glass. The sliding system reveals a central compartment lined with mirrors, designed to hold glassware or objects. Italian manufacture, circa 1970. Cidue – Willy Rizzo label present on the base. The piece is in very good original condition. Some visible signs of age on the chrome. Beginning of patina on the mercury mirrors, light and even. Very fine surface scratches on the tops, consistent with age. Dimensions: height 35 cm, width 80 cm, length 130 cm. Up to 200 cm when opened. A structuring piece for a living room, to be used closed for a minimalist reading or open for a more convivial use.
