Oil on wood panel from the end of the 18th century. This character is michel-françois couët du vivier de lorry, born in metz on january 9, 1727 and died in paris on march 14, 1803, was successively bishop of vence from 1763 to 1769, bishop of tarbes from 1769 to 1782, bishop of angers from 1782 to 1802 and bishop of la rochelle in 1802. Cracked paint and some scratches, but good condition. Dimensions: 36 / 27.5 / 0.9 cm.
