Art deco chandelier signed noverdy france - wrought iron and marbled glass

Authentic Art Deco chandelier (1920s/1930s) by the famous glassmaker Jean Noverdy (Dijon). This complete light fixture consists of a superb tripod mount made of hammered wrought iron with geometric decorations and three marbled glass tulips (glass paste). The glasswork features a beautiful cloudy gradient, contrasting between a bright orange-yellow and a deep blue at the base of the glass pieces. Each tulip is engraved with the authentic signature "NOVERDY France". The glass is in good condition. No cracks, no chips. The wrought iron mount has a lovely original patina. The electrical system is from the period; the wiring is old and will need to be revised/replaced to meet current safety standards.
