Vintage black leather lamp base from the 1950s.

Vintage table lamp probably from the 1950s to 1970s. The base is conical or obelisk-shaped, covered in black leather with fine gold leaf detailing. The style is reminiscent of the work of designers or quality houses from the mid-20th century (Jacques Adnet style or high-end desk lamps of the time). The base, in good condition, has a Mid-Century vintage look that remains sought after in interior decoration. The lampshade needs to be replaced with a more modern one. Functional with a switch.
