Emerald green glass ashtray, Arques crystal glassware.

Here is a very beautiful moulded glass ashtray in a lovely emerald green colour. It comes from the famous glassworks of Arques, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2025. This establishment owns the brands Arcopal, Arcoroc, and Luminarc; its glass is recognised for its strength, durability, and practicality, being easy to handle and store. Arcoroc has thus become a flagship brand for professionals in the catering industry and local authorities. And all this without ever compromising on creativity, featuring a very original design with straight lines and cut angles, and a thicker base decorated with diamond points underneath. An original design that is also crafted to make the object sturdy! It does not bear the Arcoroc brand, just stamped "France" inside (which was quite common), but it has exactly the same design as two Arcoroc ramekins that I am also offering for sale here, and it fits perfectly with these ramekins. It is believed to date from the 1970s. It is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or even scratches; it has probably never been used. It measures 10 cm on each side and has a height of 3.7 cm.
