Display table with a violin-shaped top in blackened pear wood, inlaid in the style of André-Charles Boulle's creations. The top is adorned with scrolls, foliage, and acanthus leaves in brass against a background of tortoiseshell, bordered by a wide fluted bronze band. The apron, undulating and shaped, is highlighted by brass fillets and a wide chiseled bronze band. At the centre of each side is a prominent mask of Bacchus alternating with rosettes. The central baluster column rests on four feet decorated with ribbons, acanthus leaf drops, and finials. It is worth noting that this guéridon has wheels. This Napoléon III display table, a true work of art, will undoubtedly enhance your interior. Period: Mid-19th century. Very good condition after restoration in our workshop.
