Coffee table in the style of Gascoin

Beautiful coffee table in solid beech "reconstruction" spirit in the style of Marcel Gascoin's pieces. Its rectangular top in openwork slats rests on 4 overhanging legs, joined by an H-shaped spacer. These tables dating from the 50s and 60s had been stained, varnished and waxed. I stripped it to find its raw wood and protected it with a colorless matt oil. Its compact dimensions are perfectly suited to small spaces. It can also be diverted into a bench, in an entrance hall for example.
