Old Ravier in ironstone "on the red carpet" decor pheasant

An old ironstone dish with a blue printed decoration depicting a pheasant, a hunting trophy. On the reverse is the mention "Au Tapis Rouge – Paris, " a famous Parisian department store that had tableware made by various French manufacturers at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The hunting decoration is less common than floral designs, making it ideal for a country table, kitchen decor, or a collection of antique earthenware.
