Very large bookcase in blackened pear wood, napoleon III period. It opens with two glass doors, engraved and numbered "mh" on the upper part and two drawers on the lower part. Richly carved wood decorated with acanthus leaves, attributes of the arts and a lion's head. The interior is lined with five original shelves. The pediment is decorated with spinning tops. The column sides are detached, fluted and carved. Two front legs in the shape of flattened balls. Good general condition. Max dimensions: h 290 X 162 X 57.5 cm.
