Pair of steel and Mohair velvet armchairs by François Monnet 1970

This pair of stainless steel armchairs from the 1960s-1970s was designed by françois monnet and produced by kappa from 1970 to 1975. The rounded shapes, the precise stainless steel assemblies, coupled with the softness of the mohair velvet form a together with a rare presence. They have been completely restored, repolished and reupholstered with a caramel mohair velvet reminiscent of a teddy bear, by dedar. Typical 70s design, and superb metal work.
