Large wrought iron knocker from either a church, an episcopal palace (residence of a bishop) or archiepiscopal (residence of an archbishop). Probably native to france or piedmont in northern italy. Xvii th century. Dimensions: width 22.5cm, height 21cm, stem length 4.5cm, and maximum door thickness 3.3cm. Weight: 1.100kg. Very neat shipment.
