Schreiber was a prominent British furniture manufacturer founded in 1957 and known for producing affordable, well-designed modern furniture for the mass market. Their furniture was a staple of British homes through the 1960s and 70s. This is a well-proportioned extendable Mid-Century drop-leaf dining table by Schreiber Furniture, dating from the 1960s. It has a wood grain Formica top supported by a simple gate-leg mechanism that allows both leaves to fold down when not in use. Ideal for smaller spaces. Size  Width fully extended 152cm. Width not extended 36cm. Depth 84. Height 73cm. Material. Formica. Beech. Condition: Very good Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use. Structurally solid.
