Dining Chairs by Richard Riemerschmid for Deutsche Werkstätten, 1920s

This high-quality set of four dining chairs was designed by Richard Riemerschmid for Deutsche Werkstätten Dresden-Hellerau in Germany in 1919. The set offered here was manufactured during the 1920s. The chairs feature frames of stained oak with the original spring core upholstery in the seats, upholstered with leather. The backrests are made from laminated wood. An impressive Art Nouveau set in very good original condition with light wear and patina consistent with age and use.
