Set of 6 Copeland Spode "Rose de Chine" English porcelain soup plates, after the original 1815 pattern. This pattern, renowned for its rich colors and oriental influence, dates back to the original design created by Spode around 1815 (Pattern C1815). It exemplifies the excellence and attention to detail characteristic of fine English porcelain. The center of the plate features an exquisite floral motif in vibrant colors: deep oranges, fuchsia pinks, blues, and greens, against a brilliant white background. The rim of the plate is adorned with an intricate decorative frieze in gray-brown tones and a second floral motif, all enhanced by the characteristic scalloped edge and the hand-painted green border. Made by the prestigious Spode factory, famous for its fine porcelain and its transfer decoration technique, which involves hand-coloring. The plates are in very good condition. Dimensions: 23 X 3.8 cm. As these are antique items, they may show signs of wear. The photographs are an integral part of the description and condition of the item.
