Do you know the origin of this piece of furniture? It's quite rare to find a piece of furniture like this in our region of Charente. It comes straight from Brittany. You have to imagine that at one time, box beds existed, and this piece of furniture was transformed into living room furniture. So here's the box bed repurposed as a bookcase or a sideboard, depending on the purpose you choose to use it for. Behind each of its six hinged doors, you can store a number of things and various objects. It also has two fairly deep drawers decorated with bronze handles. It is stained dark oak with a lovely natural patina. It's a magnificent and imposing piece of furniture.
