Oil and vinegar bottles in crystal by Paloma Picasso for Villeroy & Boch.

We fell in love with these slender and precious silhouettes, designed by Paloma Picasso for Villeroy & Boch in the late 1980s. Made of crystal, these two small bottles belong to the tableware collection imagined by the designer around 1989. Their truncated conical shape, rhythmically adorned with long vertical facets, rests on a thick, geometric base that beautifully plays with light. At the top, a fine metal mount precedes a spectacular spherical crystal stopper, like a jewel placed on the glass. A design that is both rigorous and sensual, very representative of Paloma Picasso's universe: geometry meets roundness, crystal meets light, with this graphic sophistication so characteristic of the creations from the late 1980s. Originally intended to form an oil and vinegar set, they can today reclaim their function on a beautiful table or break free from it: small perfume bottles, precious containers in a bathroom, or liqueur decanters for an intimate service.
