Square tablecloth in kelsch

Old tablecloth (late nineteenth °) in Alsatian kelsch in indigo blue linen and ecru 170 x 140 cm. In two parts of 70 cm, with a connection in the middle made by hand, and consolidated by a white cotton cerge stitched by machine. (a tiny hole towards the edge along the cerge). Very regular weaving. The kelsch was handcrafted and embroidered by the bride-to-be to make her trousseau. With 4 towels embroidered with the same pattern (42 X 35 cm). The tablecloth and towels are bordered by a border made with crochet (white and gray for the tablecloth) and gray and blue for the towels. No rust stains.
