Square tablecloth in kelsch

Antique tablecloth (late 19th century) in Alsatian kelsch made of indigo blue and ecru linen, measuring 170 x 140 cm. It is in two parts of 70 cm, with a hand-stitched seam in the middle, reinforced with a white cotton bias tape sewn by machine. (There is a tiny hole near the edge along the bias tape). The weaving is very regular. The kelsch was handwoven and embroidered by the future bride to create her trousseau. Includes 4 napkins embroidered with the same motif (42 x 35 cm). The tablecloth and napkins are bordered with a crocheted trim (white and grey for the tablecloth) and grey and blue for the napkins. No rust stains.
