Magnificent wedding chest / 19th-century trunk in solid oak, fully stripped to offer a sublime raw wood appearance with a natural and warm finish. Its façade features superbly moulded panels with curved lines (like a gendarme's hat) and elegantly carved uprights. It has a traditional pegged construction, ensuring authenticity. Its drop-down top opens to reveal a beautiful interior storage space. The real decorative plus: Its shallow depth (only 25.5 cm!) makes it a particularly rare piece that is easy to integrate. It is ideal as a space-saving entrance bench, a console/TV unit, or at the foot of a bed, even in narrow spaces. Additionally, its back is also a clean oak panel, allowing it to be placed in the centre of a room if needed. Characteristics & Technical Specifications.
