Sculpted travertine ashtray by Fratelli Manelli, Italian design 1970.

A true piece of Italian design, an ashtray/trinket dish designed by the famous designer Enzo Mari for Fratelli Manelli. Minimalist and functional style. Made of travertine, a natural sedimentary rock, and left in its raw state, this piece embodies the timeless elegance of Italian design from the 1970s. In very good condition, except for a flaw on one corner likely related to the pores of the travertine (left in its raw state here). Original label and pads, each stamped.
