Old cast iron shelf and green tiles

Old cast iron shelf and green tiles ideal for placing on a piece of furniture or just as decoration, this old shelf from the 1930s/40s will always bring a touch of authenticity. This beautifully crafted shelf was originally intended to be placed above our grandmothers' old cast iron cookers. The openwork work of the cast iron and the finely sculpted pediment recall the know-how of the ironworkers of yesteryear. Each green tile is fixed in its center by a brass screw (one or two tiles are cracked or broken but present). The cast iron was brushed and varnished to bring out its superb graphite color. Measurements: long 77.5 cm at the top and 70 cm long at the base height 90 cm depth 23 cm at the shelf or 16 cm at the base.
