A very beautiful vintage pitcher made of thick transparent glass, whose geometric silhouette immediately catches the eye. Its octagonal body with long vertical ribs elegantly captures the light, while the crafted neck, small spout, and large glass handle give it a look that is both understated and sculptural. A piece full of charm, in the spirit of French domestic glassware from the mid-20th century, where the robustness of glass met a true quest for form. With its height of 27 cm, it has a lovely presence on a table and can be used for water, lemonade, fruit juices, or a homemade drink. It can also be repurposed as a vase, with a few long branches or a wildflower bouquet. The light passes through its eight faces and beautifully plays with reflections: a simple object, but one that knows how to add character to a table. Era: probably 1950s-1960s. Manufacturer unidentified. Thick moulded glass. Some normal signs of age and use, without detracting from its charm. Price: €39.
