Provençal wardrobe Walnut 1850

Provençal wardrobe in walnut, dated around 1850, a family piece. The wardrobe was part of a lot furnishing the rooms of the bastide of the 2 fountains (Le Val-Var) when 2 Swiss merchant brothers married the 2 daughters of the village tanner and built the house, which was requisitioned in 1942 by the German army, which made it its headquarters. The house was sold by the family in 1972, and the furniture was divided among the 9 heirs of the time. There are signs of woodworm and some minor wear. The lock works and closes the doors properly.
