Antique armoire painted in pine wood, Central European rural furniture with a painted patina originating from Central Europe and dated around 1900. It comes from Central Europe, from the late 19th century, where alpine rural furniture was crafted from solid pine and painted in light tones to unify the chromatic reading of the domestic interior. In the rural houses of the Alps and Central Europe, small two-door armoires with a lower drawer served a storage function in the bedroom, hallway, or main room. The light paint originally applied has worn over time, leaving a highly sought-after natural stripped finish in contemporary decoration. Constructed from solid pine using traditional joinery. The front features two parallel doors with framed panels — each panel designed as a double rectangle with chamfered corners — and a lower drawer. The piece rests on four short feet with a ball profile. The hardware is original wrought iron. Details. Dimensions: Length 51 cm – Depth 30 cm – Height 71 cm. Style: Central European alpine rural.
