Hollywood Regency Brass Cobra Table Lamp with Brown Shade, France, 1970s

Striking and highly decorative Hollywood Regency table lamp from France, dating to the 1970s. The lamp features an impressive brass cobra forming the base, depicted in a dramatic rearing pose with a coiled body and detailed scale texture. The warm brass finish beautifully complements the rich brown fabric shade, finished with elegant gold trim that enhances the lamp's luxurious appearance. Combining exotic animal-inspired design with the glamour and sophistication associated with the Hollywood Regency style, this piece makes a bold statement in both classic and eclectic interiors. When illuminated, the brown shade emits a warm ambient glow, highlighting the sculptural quality of the cobra base and creating an inviting atmosphere. A distinctive decorative object as well as a functional lighting piece, ideal for use on a side table, console, desk, or bedside table. Condition: Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Minor wear and patina to the brass consistent with age. The shade remains in good condition and is included with the lamp.
