1960's Mid Century Flower Vase

An original flower vase designed in the 1960's. It is a lovely piece and is believed to have been produced in germany. This flower vase has a particularly beautiful abstract pattern made up of organic forms that intersect with each other. The background of the piece is painted in a mustard yellow colour. The biggest abstract organic forms are made using a tactile grain that then looks as though it has been painted over in a loose, fluid manner. There are also parts that look like splashes with brown patches painted over them. The colour palette of the patterns varies from a dark grey poppy seed type colour to a richer dark brown. The ring around the top has thick layer of blue and the inside is painted a dark navy colour mixed with dark grey. This piece is in great vintage condition without any damage, cracks or chips. There is some small wear inside the vase made from using the piece over the years.
